Is Your Office Paper Destroying Australia’s Native Forests?

Turn now towards your office copy machine and laser printer and ask yourself  “what brand of copy and laser paper do we buy for the office?”

Why would I ask you to think about your office copy or laser paper?  Because you may be really shocked and upset to know that some companies of copy and laser paper brands are cutting down our Australian native forests for our office paper.

Yesterday I was invited by the NSW Wilderness Society to photograph ‘behind the scenes’ their protest against Reflex (one such company who are destroying our Australian Native Wilderness).

The protest theme was ‘Victoria Secret’ i.e. what Reflex is doing in Victoria is a secret to most people.  Men and women protesters, dressed as Victoria Secret models so to draw attention to a story that really needs to be told here in Australia.

In case you were wondering these are the office and copy papers that The Wilderness Society recommends:

1) Evelve (Business & Office A4 and A3)

2) Vision (Pure White, 100% A4 and A3 + 10 colours)

3) Fuji Xerox Recycled Supreme A4 and A3 + 5 pastel colours)

4) Office Works (100% recycled A4)

Enjoy the photographs (yes you can have a laugh as I sure did – who said saving Australia’s Native Forests couldn’t be fun?).  To view more Wilderness Society protest photographs, check out the Sarhn McArthur Photography’s Facebook page.

  1. I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my
own weblog and was wondering what all is needed to get setup?
I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a
pretty penny? I’m not very internet savvy so I’m
not 100% positive. Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Appreciate it
